I've noticed that Harman stoves are quite sensitive to pellet length, much more so than other brands.
Try feed a Quad Santa Fe with that oversized cork screw with long pellets:(

hi,
i just purchased 4.5tons(ouch) of pellets which the pellets are randomly long. this is causing pellet jamming in the hopper and stop feeding the stove, ggrr! i will be talking to the supplier this week to see what can be done with this mess. these pellets are from a new supplier and i do not want to mention any names as of yet and see what good comes of this problem. i was told that they were aware of the longer pellets(i complained last year to the company after trying a few of bags) and the plant made modifications to remedy this, it looks like they sold me old stock or they haven't rectified the problem! as anyone come up with a homemade gadgetry to make the pellets shorter? if i have no recourse with the supplier, i will mention a name. thx for listening to my rant.........

I just purchased a half ton of Lacwood yesterday, and while I was loading the bags, I inspected every bag to look out for this issue. They seem to have rectified the problem as all the pellets looked to be a good length. I am hoping that you and I both have no other issues as I recently switched to them and will be purchasing a few tons in the summer.

Cheers

I would quit burning if I had to go through any of this!
One weakness of the MVAE is that it is intolerant of long pellets. The long pellets block the drop chute and cause the stove to go out. I had this happen my first season burning with Infernos.
It was easy to clear the blockage with a wire hanger straightened to reach up into the drop chute. The short term fix was to drop the bags a few times before loading them into the hopper. The long term fix was to buy some decent pellets.
Just thought you should be mentally prepared for the possibility. YMMV
