My update is no update. Thelin wants to do all they can to make things right. Good start when you send replacement parts by snail mail. Strike against them.

Hi John So sorry everything is not settled out yet- I really admire your patience. I don't know if you can be properly compensated for your troubles, but I hope it comes out in your favor. Good luck.

They couldn't spring for an "if it fits, it ships" priority box? It's not like there's a customer getting his bolls busted by a stove he paid good $ for in the dead if winter or anything.

I agree. Strike one, at least. Just gotta hang in there. Hopefully, it'll all be in the past soon.

That can be someone not telling shipping dept or someone in shipping dept not paying attention. FedEx delivered our new coffee maker to the wrong address today. Got a call to come and get

Agree, you have a lot of patience... you would think that they would expedite everything at this point....keep updating...thanks

Was gonna be a real upstanding guy and not say a thing. Thelin is watching this ordeal. Enough is enough. You are NOT keeping this customer happy. You are costing me money, where my intent was to save it. Why in....name would you send parts on the Titanic? Did I mention ..thank ...I found it in time...the caulk in the hopper was flopping around and pulled it before it made it to the auger?

Well your parts prob. had to come from california. As dealers are almost nonexistant anymore for these it is not like they could have the parts sent from a local dealer.Kind of like ecoteck, great units, poor support.Looks like new owners are really running thelin into the dirt.

Venting here has been a nice outlet for me as my better half is ready to lock and load. I thank all ya for watching what unfolds. I believe why I have posted all this is twofold. 1, Hope you buy from a honest and reputable dealer that will watch your back. I think I am well covered there as far as Stoves and Stuff is concerned, very happy with the response I have gotten from them. As far as the stove I bought, Love the heat, love the look..could I do better with another brand? That is up in the air. Frustrated? Starting to hit my boiling point. Thelin..Sorry , never again. Lesson learned.

Me thinks the pony died or rider didn't have chains:oops:

Lock and load?
John still has a working stove, just not as automated as they would like. If the parts are not in the stove by the weekend then I would be giving notice of "Fire in the HOLE"

Yes it is burning. Much more cleaning and pellet burning..but working. 24/7

Yup on that! Time to pull it, enough is enough.

We have decided Friday is the deadline for parts, Monday fixed. Anything after that is not what we expected. Time to pull it and get another stove. This is costing me money I don't have to spend.

You have been much more patient then I ever would have been.

Should probably give the dealer a heads up on the deadline - if you haven't already. Maybe he can light a fire under Thelin's backside ... part of any decision to purchase a particular brand of pellet stove includes searching out reliability of the product and customer service. Dead fail from what I can see... Hope things get sorted out.

Called late today parts are in and will be installed on Monday...fingers crossed ;hm

Sorry to hear of your troubles but hopefully everything works out for ya.

Thanks rich....just want them resolved.

So as I said I had 2 cars that were lemons. First was a brand new ford torus with 70 miles off the truck. Leaked tranny fluid constantly .They had it 5 times for 6 to 8 days a time. Mind you I didn't get a rental. After the 5th time when I would go in reverse it would go BANG then wrk. Tryed to go to dmv for Lemmon law they said technically since it worked I didn't have a case.So a car not even 6 months with 7 k a disaster. I licked my wounds traded it in and took a 6 k loss. That hurt but that piece of garbage was out of my life.So I feel your pain sir...
