Does anyone use an additive of any kind in there oil tank? Hopefully my 3/4 of a Tank will be sitting for several years, I was thinking some kind of stabilizer , thoughts ?

I put a biocide in there at 3/4 full. It was a brand recommended here. There was a thread on it.

Of course now I'm trying to run it down so that I can move the tank.

Seeing as i'm in the trucking business, I put in what I had close. Powerservice. I also run my oil side from time to time. Once in a while i come home to a cold tank and will start a fire to do a quick catch up heating. Or just flip it on for an hour, keeps things stirred up.

I used Startron Diesel additive a few years back, so far so good. I use Startron gasoline additive in all my small engines, I have been VERY impressed...
