First year with the wood boiler, I put off finishing the inside of the garage so I could install the heating system. I think it was a good call

That's a good looking set up. What did you have before?
 
Very nice. I was hoping for the 'making heat' followup post. Very professional design and execution.

The Froling is an expensive boiler, but you can get the boiler for free when you compare it to the cost of burning oil over the life of the boiler.

Congrats, enjoy your firemaking. Niiice looking cordwood also.

That's a good looking set up. What did you have before?
Used plain old fireplace 20 plus years ago, just for a couple of years then Lopi, Freedom insert for 8 years or so. Last ten years I haven't burnt any wood. My plan was a boiler in the garage. Then I found this web site and found a new direction.
 
Some good reasons to love the internet. Much easier to get info.
