Such a wistful ad. He might save the wood for you if you let him come over and sit by your stove for a little while.
 
Norway maple dries fast and burns nice, mix it with a higher btu wood and you cant ask for better.....IMHO
 
I know there are some local Hearth members who might want a crack at this. I did get a response from the person running the Ad.....he is out for quotes at the moment, and will let me know when, and where.....I do not need the wood, but will try to keep in the loop......where are you Jeremy ! ?, I know you're out there
 
where abouts in CT are you? I'm near New Haven so Danbury is a hike..but it is intriguing lol

I about 8 miles from the NY border.....exit 8 off of I84.....the location of the tree coming down I think may be close to Exit 3 off of I84....not sure, but Danbury covers Exit 1 thru 5
 
We'll see how this one plays out.....I still have this to deal with that now sits under 1 1/2 foot of snow......boss sez "no more wood till you clean up your mess"......if the timing is right;hm
