I just recently installed my first pellet insert which is an Accentra 52i. Everything works fine except the insert takes quite a bit of muscling to move on the rails. I have searched to see if anyone else has commented on the difficulty of pushing the insert in or pulling it out but found nothing. Am I the only one with a balky insert?

I have a much older one and it is very hard to get in and out. Guess that's what happens when you try to slide a 400 lb device on metal rails. Mine is metal on metal so it ends up being a struggle.

Mine was installed yesterday and I watched the slide it in and would echo your comments on struggle.

Dont have the newer 52i, but believe it to be the same method. The older models used to come with some rope Gasket type piece on the Rails. It wears after a few years of pulling in and out. Never had too much trouble untill it wore out and had metal on metal. My dealer told me to use " Slideall", or as it isn't in contact with heat some other material. I have been using strips of material similar to the Craft supplies in Walmart. If its smooth and thick enough to take the weight. I replace it when it starts to wear. Stove comes out and in fairly easy.

I made my own service rail kit with 1-1/4" flat bar and a 2x4 support system for it-about $25.00. I removed the rollers and lubed them when I was installing mine-used never seize. Mine rolls easier than I expected. Hope this helps.
