The tube gets hot bit no orange glow ....what can it be?
I know I can test the sensor by jumping it and that will test the igniter but where is the sensor on a ef3 enviro
I can get but light it manually with paper but I want to fix it .
So my fear is the ignitor is 150.00 so I want to make sure that is it an if it is how do you replace the ignitor?..
Thanks in advance for any help money is tight so I have to get this right the 1st time

My EF-2 never had an ignitor.
I used a propane torch for years.

Pour in a hand full of pellets into the burn pot.
Spark torch and get pellets burning brightly. (About 20 seconds of flame)
Close door and set stove to run like normal.
No ignitor needed.

Good Luck.

Not familiar with your stove - but it sounds like the ignitor is working, but not getting the air flow through/ around it.

Remove the ignitor, and check the airflow passageway, coming from behind it, for restrictions.

Yes I have not been able to see how to take it out. It look like a tear down when I will have to do this in the summer ...
I would have to disconnect the stove pull it all apart..... Convection motor 1st ? then what any pics out there? I dont see any restriction oin the fron you can touch the heating eliment...and again it gets real ho just no glow ...
