Hi everyone

Looking to the group for suggestions. We live in central CT and it seems as though most of the suppliers around us are out of pellets or awaiting delivery. Any suggestions? Anyone finding supplies low? I expected this because of the cold winter and time of year. Thanks!

Woodpellets. Net still have stock and are available. Never used them before but my supplier is out too.

Suggestion is to try and be there on the day one of the big boxes get their delivery and get yourself 2 tons of whatever to get you through the rest of this shoulder season and into the next. In the mean time plan and find some good pellets at a reasonabe price and have 2-3 tons of it on hand for next season. Then by next fall (no later) supplement the stash you now have with whatever big box pellet looks good to you by however much you can fit......and hopefully you won't be worrying about the pellet shortage next year this time ;)

Give Primo Pellet in Wallingford,CT a try. I just got a ton of Green Gold last Saturday. He has a limited supply of the Green Gold at $269.00 a ton and Hammers Hot Ones at $299.00 a ton.....not positive on the pricing on the Hammers though.

The woman in the office said they were getting another shipment on Tuesday....yesterday of the Green Golds I think.

Hi

Thanks for the advice and hat will be my approach next year. We have only had our stove for a month. We were not sure how much to order at that time. Next year, when I am a seasoned vet, I will know better.

Not sure how much you have left but, even for this year, find out from the big box stores when the delivery is and try and get there that day. You should be able to score enough to get you through. Good Luck!! I need another ton....going to check TSC tonight!

Hi

I called Home Depot. They were not very helpful at all. Told me that they had no pellets in any of their stores and had no idea when they were getting delivery. What is TSC?

Hmmmm.......thats not good. Sometimes you need to just go to these places and meet face to face. TSC is Tractor Supply Company...sorry. Not sure where there is one near you....Vernon maybe?
Hi

There is one is Vernon and I called them last week. They did not expect anymore this season. They referred me to Agway in Ellington. Thanks for the tip. Will let you know if I have any success.
