Looking to purchase a woodstock progress hybrid. Building house now and trying to figure out exact stove placement on hearth. Would like to use top vent. Does the 7" clearance from rear wall include enough space to install the outside air adapter if needed?

Cessna, welcome to the forum! I don't know for sure about the outside air adapter but I think that the 7" clearance should work. Give Woodstock a call to make sure. Why are you considering outside air for the PH? Our house is pretty tight and we haven't needed it. FYI, you will LOVE the PH. It is an amazing stove.

Thank you toddnic! Hope you're right. I will give em a call. Glad to hear that you're enjoying the stove and that you don't need the OAK. Just getting insulation and dry wall in...just trying to plan for all possible situations. Wanted to make sure that if I needed the OAK down the road I would have the room for it. So your home is pretty tight and no problems with stove...that's a confidence builder hearing that. I'm using a combination of foam at the rim joist areas and all areas where top of walls meet the roof overhang. Standard fiberglass batts everywhere else. Mine won't be that tight so hearing your feedback, I'm thinking I'll be ok. Really appreciate your quick feedback by the way. I'm sure to be asking you more questions in the future if you don't mind. Thanks and enjoy your evening.
