6 seasons and she still looks young

We had a nice break in the weather today so I took advantage and let the fire go out so that I could clean up the stove and dump some ash out. After I was done I had to take a picture. She's finished the 6th season very well. I'm impressed at how well the paint stands up. It looks like new still.

Yeah, time is going too quickly.

I replaced the door gasket last fall. It probably could have gone another season.

Tack it back in with a couple spots of adhesive.

Great looking stove BG! I paint my stove at the end of every season and right now it doesn't look anywhere near as good as yours. The ash lip and top of mine gets dingy looking. I think the top is from constantly wiping the dust off.

When I had the Resolute it needed a paint job every other year. I was anticipating this with the T6 and hesitant to buy a painted stove after being spoiled by enameled Jotuls. This is a pleasant surprise. The stove still looks close to new after going through about 15 cords of wood. To keep it looking good all I do is vacuum off any dust then give it a wipe down with a slightly dampened towel.
