The only one I know that helps is having very dry firewood. The hazing is in a U shape at the bottom half of the glass. Any other ideas?

Keep it hot and dry, just like Jags said. I had the same problem I was cleaning black glass everyday, now I wipe the white haze once in a while

Run the stove temp hot and let it go out if heat is not required.
The first year with my stove and not so dry oak the glass would be so black you couldn't see the fire. All in one weekend! Now the same seasoned oak same stove we can go the whole season and only clean the white haze for a sparkling glass. Wood was a issue, but how to do it comes with practice. If we accidentally get a dark spot, we burn it right off with a hot fire.

Yep yep yep. Dry wood and a hot fire are your friend. 400-650 deg is a good burn for stove top. Its a wood stove not a smoke house.
