There is no factual info to support Eric's claim. You have no control over those pellets while on their trucking route making your indoor ( haha) storage moot

ohh boy, didnt mean to derail the original subject matter here. I actually thought the "move" comment was funny, especially when i told my wife she said "yea, lets move to Charlotte NC".

My apologies to Kinsmanstoves. I did over do it.
I'll stand down now... but do have a question. Do newbies sit in the back or front of the bus? J/k

its a community bro. newbies are welcomed and generally treated as equals insofar as not getting flamed, but welcoming does come with a price. folks who spend time in here do so out of a willingness to share experience. this should be respected. if one disagrees one should do so in a respectful way. any topic is welcome as long as its discussed in a civil way

Don't they arrive on a flatbed trailer exposed to the elements? Drying out and succumbing to the nasty earth elements. I suspect they are often stored outside at pellet mills although I dont have any proof on that.
I demand box truck. Fiber by Products uses indoor storage of pellets.

Are the eves wide open on this building? It appears they are from the pic. If , this is right, how is it any better than depot or lowes putting them under a canopy in the garden enter?
I didn't know that pellets loose their "density over time"? I thought it was moisture that was the enemy. Perhaps this is a magic barn where time stands still, and pellets turn to gold?
Suggesting someone should "move" because there aren't any suppliers in their area who store "inside" is about as ignorant as suggesting that an asthmatic shouldn't breath... Wow.
Local lowes received a truckload which sold in less than 48hrs, are we suppose to be impressed?
Yup
