Really can't complain to much. So far winters been pretty mild, Just rough on the shouder pellet stash. Gonna need more Timber Heats or PTL real soon.

BTW, I like them Timber Heats, Burn a lot like the Dry Creek's of old. Not really a shoulder pellet IMHO either.

I agree. Except for the snow, it hasn't been too bad (did we just jinx ourselves? !!!)

I gotta bring in the last ton of GT's from the storage shed....probably tomorrow. I just stopped at Lowes on the way home from work....no Timber Heats to be seen:mad:....I liked them a lot too. Just the expensive GT's, and poor GS and North Amer. <>

I have the cure for bad winters. We are putting in a paved driveway this summer and buying a snow blower. I predict 6 inches of snow for the entire winter next year.

Someone turned the sun down a notch. No really, no large solar flares for two years.

If I sign the contract for the Florida property will be the warmest MN ever and Florida oranges will freeze.

to be fair, last season I never bothered putting the snow blower on my tractor, this season I did before the first snow storm...<>

It will be over soon - this weekend I'll get the hole through my wall for the OAK then next week get signed off and be able to burn for real. So it will be 60deg, and I will have burned all of 20 bags this season. Then it will be warm next year when I'm trying to burn this year's pellets.

Sigh,
- Jeff

Would being warm next winter be that bad?

It's my FIL's fault. He refused to have me put his snow blower on the front of his tractor last fall when we had a couple 50* weekends. Then he buried his walk behind snow blower in the garage that could be featured on a hoarders TV special.

True. The solar maximum cycles are averaging lower sun output. Approaching levels of the last mini ice age in 1645.

Geez, can you imagine how cold it would be if not for global warming?? Hee Hee...

I 2nd Al Gore !! (a Nobel peace prize;lol;lol:rolleyes:)
