Would anyone know what the air washer reducer on a harman xxv is used for? It is part number 18 on the parts diagram.

As far as I know, nobody knows, I filed it away with useless parts. When I used it just made a mess of the glass. Hope this helps, just my 2 cents

I removed mine for 2 days. Made it worse. Still had the upside down L but also soot was forming on the bottom of the glass. Put the bar back in.
