Good to hear David that there still getting Trebio in. We had a skid come in to our Walmart but did not last long. It was -21 here so we will need a few more weeks (months) of burning yet.

My local walmart been out for month's, crap anyway

Our Walmart had a new pallet of Trebio pellets today. Went to Canadian Tire first and paid $1 more for the Canawicks (Trebios there were $0.50 cheaper). Have not tried the Canawick yet but am very curious how they burn. They smell better than the Indecks (they smell like swamp/muskeg). Still prefer the smell of pine :) will see how the burn goes.

Trebios do produce a lot of ash but not a bad pellet for shoulder seasons when heat output is not as critical. The cheaper price helps.

Quite a bit of ash when I burn them in my stove. I only use them as a last resort.

Now I understand every stove has certain pellets that run better then others, but, I do not believe Trebio is a shoulder pellet. My avatar pic was taken running Trebio and it is the hottest pellet I've run so far with Satisfaction a close 2nd . L.G., Curran and Canwick, for me, are more of a shoulder pellet running 40 to 60 F cooler which should come in handy when this full moon has passed us by.

A shoulder pellet compared to my Heartlands. I just really hate all the ash they produce so not a first pic but better than the Indecks;). Canawicks produce less ash; haven't been watching the heat production as much as we have had a couple of mild days.

Just picked up Trebio Premium Pellets "Marked Down" at Walmart $3.88 a bag! Have been burning Lumberjack, Canwick, and Home Depot Satisfaction brand. Have'nt burned Trebio yet. But good luck with the others. Canwick burns hotest so far. Harman Accentra 52 FS. Great stove first season. Saved a ton $ on fuel oil.

Trebios on sale locally for $3.88/bg, typically produce lots ash but I mix them 50/50 with a different brand to reduce the mess. They burn fine and price is hard to beat.

Welcome to the forum Mercee! Trebios will produce more and fluffier ash than the Canawick and Lumberjack (been a while since I burned these). Good price - how many bags were you able to get?

I picked up most of what was left of the Trebios at Canadian Tire still $5.49 a bag but I got stuck with Indecks for $6.49/bag. The 30 bags of Indecks are being returned... They still have Canawick at CT but they are $5.99/bag and darken up the Firex in my Elena and produce clinkers because the ash is heavy.

What area of NW Ontario? I'm an hour from Fort Frances, ON.

I will have burned 5.4 ton once the last 23 bags go. During the coldest time of year, oil furnace turned down, pellet stove set on level 4, two bags a day to heat the house. At that rate every three to four days would clean the ash out, may be half fill a gallon can, the odd clinker now and then. This would take me about 20 minuets using welders gloves. We paid $4.48 per bag for three ton and $4.97 for the remainder, tax out. Oil delivery was twice for a total of $768.00 tax in and have a full tank as I type. On top of all this one of the coldest winters in 35 years they are saying. This cheap old bas#@$ed is satisfied.

Thunder Bay. Picked up 30 bags. Not sure of their supply. Going back tomorrow to get more if they aren't sold out.

One of my boys lives there - a city firefighter :).
Nice score on the pellets - no discounts here as WalMart appears to be sold out. Will Resolute be selling any pellets bulk or bagged (they got part of the OPG contract for Atikokan)?

Got the word yesterday that Walmart will have a pellet sale on Trebio Premium hardwood pellets for $3.88 a bag this morning. These are in a white bag, burn really good though not as hot as the 50/50 mix.

Bought 210 bags of trebio this weekend. My stove likes these the best to date. 4 different types of pellets tried and these burn the hottest. Also at 194 per ton these prices are unheard of around here. Hope our friends to the south get some pellets soon. Good luck to all.
