Hi,
My James town J2000 is acting up a bit....I've noticed when the stove is running on a lower setting it seems to work fine.
When I turn the stove up for more heat it will run wide open and I can't control the heat settings .
Turn it back down and it makes no difference...still runs wide open...I then have to turn the stove off and let it cool down and if I relight it later on it works ok on 1 to 3 settings until I turn the stove control to about 3.5 or 4 calling for more heat it again will run out of control...
Would it be a problem with a temp snap disk...or is it in the control board?
Great stove....its about 16 years old and built like a tank..I replaced all the blower motors and auger motor over the last year and its been working great until recently.
Anyone one chime in on what the problem might be...

Thanks Bob.

My j 2000 is a 2002 it has a rehastat type dial with settings 1 through 6 . I've had to blow a little dust out of it a couple times my problem was it didn't want to pick up its feed rate. slowed down fine. Wide open is a lot with these stoves they throw heat and eat pellets lol.
