It has now been 5 months since a plumber adjusted my termination cap.
The only problem I have had is that on days when the winds are 31 mph or higher the pilot light gets blown out.
Otherwise, my heater has functioned ok.
As some of you may recall, my original posting produced some hard feelings among some of the powers that be on this forum so the posting was closed for further comment.
Anyway, if nothing bad has happened so far, is it safe to say that it would be ok to try to install the louvers (http://www.thehardwarehut.com/catalog-product.php?p_ref=260941) that I had in mind to see whether when there are strong winds the pilot light will not be blown out?
