I have been lurking for a while and learned so much from all of you. Just wanted to say "Hi".

Had a Harman P68 installed in our unfinished basement this February. Have not used it too much yet, about 1/2 a ton. Can't wait to get the basement finished and take advantage of the pellet heat. I can see a pellet addiction in my future. Everyplace I go lately I've been checking out what they carry and comparing specs and prices.

Looking forward to chatting with you all.

Scott

Thanks for the welcome!

It's 2,100 square feet with 9 foot walls, all exposed concrete that has rigid insulation on the exterior R-5. It heats it up pretty quick and holds it there easy but once I shut it off it drops quick. It is 30f outside today and took me 2 bags over the last 24 hours keeping it 68-72. I am hoping insulation helps that a lot.

Insulation will help a lot. I have our main installation in a ICF basement. Insulation has the fastest payback of home improvements. Welcome

Welcome from Wisconsin.

We are in abrams, just 20 minutes north of you.

ICF's I'm jealous. I bet that's toasty!

bbfarm, How do you like the Rib Mountains compared to the Uncle Jed's? I just tried two bags of Ribs. They smell better but seemed like heavier ash, not as fluffy as Jed's.

I love your cheese.

Welcome to the forum... enjoy the heat. Pellet addiction is not in the future; you're already showing symptoms;lol

I like the ribs better. They have less ash than the Jed's

Cheaper too.

Haha! I don't mind the cheese head comments. Mmm cheese!

Thanks for the info bbfarm. I won't rule them out just yet I guess.
