Hello All,

I'm getting ready to build my woodshed. I'm looking at building something a little nicer than usual since it will be in view of the front of the house. I'm considering poured footers and 4x4 posts for the main structure. I would like the woodshed to hold about 4 cords of wood and have an enclosed area on one end for lawnmowers, bikes, yard tools, etc. If you have a design that you think would meet these needs and dimensions, please email them to me.

Thanks for your help!

Todd

Post a pic of your house and yard so folks can get an idea of what type of design will fit in

Check this out. Holds four cord +. Lots of pics of sheds out here too! Good luck.

Thanks Stejus! This is smaller than what I am considering but is similar in design to what I want. I would like an enclosed area on one end for yard tools, lawnmower, etc. Do you have a design that gives dimensions, etc.?

Do you really need a set of blue prints to build a woodshed?
I think as far a structures go, a woodshed is about as simple as it gets, the thing you have to decide is how big you need it and how much space you want for wood and how much space you want for storage and build it accordingly. And if you want something a little nicer, make sure you use quality materials and finish it accordingly. Try to match the color and design to your house. I used the same metal roofing on my woodshed as on my house and garage, and stained the wood the same color as the house, garage and fence.

Todd, simple shed roof design ....if you have it in you pour a continuous slab....the slab will continue through both the wood storage and the supply shed....supply shed to have four wall and a large door, wood storage area to be open one long front side....the other option for your floor would be no floor in the wood area....wood floor in the storage shed...footings and 4x4 posts will support this style of building.....the full concrete floor version will utilize standard ACQ plate construction....good luck...

Wow - one of the nicest I've seen!
