I sometimes hear people complain about it, that it doesn't radiate enough heat or it's difficult to clean.

I am hoping to hear some + things about it or even see photos of it. Please share!

I have had mine for one month. I like it. It's in the middle of my home on the main floor. It's next to a cold air return with the circulation fan on on the furnace. The side of the house to the right of the cold air return is cooler, I plan to use a fan to move the heat over since it's being sucked into the return. Upstairs, same story, after the cold air return it's much cooler. I plan to put a small fan on the wall. I may experiment with not running the furnace fan and see if the heat movement is better or worse. My home is 2100 sqft 2 story with low e windows and old blow in insulation. I do have a unfinished uninsulated basement, I'm not heating it. I'm sure insulating the basement will help. YMMV

Cleaning is easy and very convienent since you can open the door while running the stove. I only burn Douglas Fir pellets, so the pot doesn't need much scraping. The glass could be cleaned daily.

I made my hearth pad but as my profile pic shows, I haven't trimmed it out yet. I hate angles!

ETA this is my only experience with a pellet stove so I do not have anything to compare to. I don't know how the P-series and XXV compare to heating. I did not consider a P-series for my application, I liked the look of the XXV.

We have had ours for about a month now. Matte Black. Love the unit and the heat it puts out. Easy to clean. One dislike is the glass has to be cleaned daily. It gets dirty with soot and it looks like a number 7. Folks and Harman have told me to live with it. That is the only downside to the unit.

My wife and I bought one 4 or 5 years ago. It is or single greatest purchase to date, I guess besides our house. Love the heat and love the look. It heats our 2500 house very well. We don't use our electric heart at all. My neighbor paid $750 just for the month of feb in electric, 650 for jan. Crazy!
