The first picture is 5 hours over 2 days, including stacking, all red oak. But there is still a lot of that beast to eat! as seen in the second picture. Just me, my X-27 and my tire. First time using the X-27 and the tire trick and I'm sold on both. Looks like the sledge and wedges are being held in reserve for the really nasty stuff. This is from a tree service free delivery of a couple of months ago. Red oak, silver maple and red maple. Biggest oak is 51" in diameter and the biggest maple is 48" in diameter.
No guarantees yet, though....we can still get slammed again. Probably would melt off quickly, though. Then it becomes a question of getting done before the heat sets in....probably not happening for me this year, gonna be doing some serious sweatin'.
