I bought a new Harman Control Board for my P38 because the old board was Taken out from a brownout that I caused testing my new Generator.
The old Board is not made any more so I purchased a new one with installation kit.
Installing it and getting the stove running again was a piece of cake.
However the New Board seems to have a problem.
In Stove Temp Mode the Blowers etc run as expected, however in Room Temp mode the Distribution blower doesn't come on. The knob goes from low to high and no matter where I set it the distribution blower doesn't come on.
Wonder if Harman has any warranty on a Part bought thru a dealer that does mail order.

hmmm, if you have unit running in stove temp, and you turn knob to room temp, the blower stops?

Yes...
I do have the Room Temp probe connected to the 2 terminals...and it runs all night (without distribution).

no blinky status light? is very curious. You get the control board as part of the retrofit kit or was it just the board?

It was the Installation kit...
I didnt notice any blinking ..but I will have to look tonight when I run the stove again to verify.

What is your Room Temp knob set at? If the stove is set for Room Temp and the distribution fan isn't running maybe it's in "fireplace" mode. Try turning up the Room Temp knob and see if the distribution blower kicks in.

I do have the temp knob all the way down..Ill try that tonight also.

Yup, probably in "fireplace mode" I made that mistake before.

Well this was a duh on my part ;em I turned the the temp up to about half way up then it came on.
Thanks for helping me see what should have been obvious.

No reset that I atleast know of. Sound like the board is toast and needs replacement. How old is the stove / board? Did this happen all of a sudden or did you repair / clean your stove?

You should really start a new thread so that more people will see it.
This one is a resolved issue and may be ignored by more.
We do also need more info to go on.
is it a new stove or old or new board or ???

Hey rayttt, did you get the board on line or from local dealer ?? What comes in the kit and install ?? Thanks..

I bought it online from http://www.woodmanspartsplus.com/ had best price.
It came with a wiring harness and new PCB.
A steel template to drill the stove for installation holes of new board.
I was all I needed to upgrade my dead PCB to newest version.

Hey rayttt, you replaced your board with the upgraded 3 knob board. How does the stove run when connected to your APC? Does it keep running and maintain a fire or does it go in shut down mode and the combustion fan runs till out. Some of the new Harmans go into a shutdown mode if run from some Uninterrupted Power Supplies.

I believe it shuts it down.
It happened once when I wasn't home...came home and stove was off. Power was back on.
