28 degrees this morning. House was warm because the stove kicked in. 3 bags left so I will have to pay a premium at the dealer for what he has available to pick up a few more. When the 3 bags are done, will have burned 4 1/2 tons this wretched winter. How about you?

I've polished off 7 ton, plus the 12 bags I started off with in October. Had to pick up a few more bags yesterday just to keep the chill out overnight. So, pretty darn close to 7.5 tons! ...may still get there yet

Have 33 bags of last year's stash left in addition to the 6 tons of douglas firs I picked up for next year.

Still burning as well. Check to see if this is unusual but see I have burned into May in years prior.

6 bags left. That will make 6 ton for the season. Will probably need a few stray bags. 21 this morning and the same for tomorrow a.m.

This winter had some of the coldest days I have seen since 1964.
We had some Zero stuff in December.

That is not COLD by some standards, but here in NW Oregon it's damn cold.

We area about 25 miles south of Portland, and at an elevation of 1200 feet, and temps in the single digits are not out of the question, but relatively rare.

Teens can come and go, but zero F is very rare indeed.

We loaded in 3 shell runs this season, with each load at 2600 to 2700 pounds.
The last haul was in late Feb and this will see us through this season and handle the fall start up fine.

This is the first season that we have had to run both Whitfields plus have the Quadrafire picking up the slack during the night, coming on at least once before morning.

Normally the large Whit will handle most winter days, with only a few times needing the little Whit to help, but this one was COLD for sure.

WE had a few days last week and this past weekend that the stoves were off all night, with a spot fire in the early morning to cut the chill.

The past few days have been chilly and wet, with temps barely in the 50's F in the daytime, and lower 40's F at night.

The little Whit has handled it fine though.

Today is clear and supposed to be near 60F and will allow us to clean the Stove.

We burned likely 25% more than normal, plus a few bags of pellets in the Quad that we have not in the past few winters.

I plan on burning through Hockey season. Go Bruins

Still burning here, but I have been able to leave it off here and there and we've been running on level 2.

I think we're on our 7th ton

7 tons is a heck of a lot..
can we ask what your oil or gas bill was before Pellet stove?!!!

Still burning 6 tons in. Havent touched the lawn yet. Dethatching this weekend opening thebsprinklers and fertilizing next week. Last year had all this done already. Been a long winter.

296 burned so far. 4 left in the basement and still burning.its gonna warm up one day soon, I hope.

record almost 5 ton's this year and still going!

Still burning every morning and evening. House was in the low 60's this morning, perhaps I should have had a low fire all night.
Forecast is in the 50 to 60 range for the next few day's Yay !!

We continue to burn in the evening and early morning. 2 bags and a half full hopper left out of 4 1/2 tons - a record for us as well. I will pas by the dealer and pick up 6 or so bags today. I usually don't buy at his prices - granted for higher end pellets than HD - but I will because there isn't a choice and I just know we will continue to have chilly evenings and mornings for a while yet.
