39 degrees and raining in PA. I had shut my stove down 5 weeks ago, give or take. I had to have a fire back in early April because it was in the 20's. Now, I'm burning again. I'm stuck using approximately 18 month old red oak. Maybe a little too high quality for the circumstances. But it's the most seasoned wood I have.

Anyone else still burning?
 
We are burning tonight in north east PA. 39 here to. I do evening and morning fires when it gets into the low 40. Normally burn right to end of May.

Still burning here in MN too. Current temp is 36°. We've had a good 4-5 inches of rain over the last 3 days, and now it's turned to snow.

I stop burning when the average high hits the mid-50's. But we've dipped at night into the high 30's. My house faces east. So I get the morning and after noon sun. It helps a lot.
 
Gonna be around 40 here the next couple nights so ill probably burn a small fire. Pretty odd to have these temps in Mississippi this time of year. I wasn't ready to shut it down though anyway. I've only gotten to burn the 13nc 5 times since I installed it so I'm looking forward to it

I love burning. But at this time of year? I've been cutting and stacking a ton of wood. I only knew I had some good red oak in my garage because I had no where else to put it. But I'm ready for summer. I've got fishing and scrounging to do!

Yea it doesn't feel right lol. I did want to burn the new stove a few more times though. I've cut a ton of wood too and have plenty more to cut. I can't wait for year two!

Although I do love a bone warming wood stove fire, I'm ready for summer. I hung the skis up 2 weeks ago and have already taken the motorcycle out for a few rides.

Still burning every night here in WI except about 3 nights. Going to run out of my "this season" wood tomorrow. Not happy. Go home Winter, you're drunk!
 
Haven't stopped burning ... there's been a fire in the Oslo at least once a day since last fall ... at least it's easier now with just one or two daily fires.
 
Still burning here also, just not running full loads any more. That said about 1/2 cord since the beginning of April. Forecast shows I will still be firing the NC30 until sometime in the middle of May. With Lake Michigan being nearly completely froze over this past winter any wind coming in off the lake really chills the area down. Will be in the 30's a few nights next week.
 
If the Wife had it her way....yes, we'd still be burning. Our stacks are done....for the last month, we've been burning questionable wood, and I had to put a stop to it......don't need to dirty up the flue and have a Chimney Fire.
 
Like an idiot I stopped to early. Oh well. It'll eventually warm up.
 
I thought I was done then it cold cold and wet in central PA. I'm out of wood for the year so stopped and got some of these on the way home from work. Working REALLY well. Better than the red stone blocks from tractor supply.....

I cleaned and shut down the stove on Sunday. Yesterday was chilly but that should be about it until fall. I can build a fire now but I like everything to be cleaned out and ready for next season. No real reason for it except my own stubbornness. But in this area it is pretty late to be having a fire for most.

It's also late for an overnight low of 35 but that's what I had last night...
 
Yup, this cool, damp weather just keeps hanging around. We had a warm spell in early April; I brushed the chimney and pipe. Thought maybe we were done burning, during the day at least.

Not hardly. But it's great weather to finish off the gum wood. Want to get rid of that stuff before it rots. :)
 
Still burning here too. Over night fires that linger into the day, that require open windows once the sun gets off its butt. looking like we will be still burning into may here too.
 
Still burning occasionally in Virginia. This is what God created soft maple for, right?

Burning all the punky stuff I found when moving some stacks. 6 out of 7 this past week. Fingers crossed today is the last time until the fall
 
Still burning here also. Wife and dogs are pleased with it. Using up some small rounds and other crappy shoulder wood that might be no good by next season. Its supposed to go up to 77 tomorrow, the H-D is cleaned and ready to go and so am I
 
i burn some....run the furnace some....depends. i still have a few pieces downstairs i could throw into the box. low 40's at night and mid 50's-low 60's during the day dont heat the house too good buy itself.
