Will any insurance companies keep you insured if you build a outdoor wood stove even if it is 60 feet away from your house

Auto Owners will provide coverage if it is self contained like a traditional outdoor wood boiler, and not installed in an outbuilding. They had a minimum distance to the house or covered outbuilding but I don't recall what it was.

USAA will charge you a premium if you have a solid fuel appliance in the house. They also do not care what you have in an outbuilding, provided clearances are maintained.

Yes it is a traditional non pressurized outdoor wood stove with pole barn tin around it . Thanks for the help I have pioneer state right know

If it's a home made unit it will probably not be covered nor will any damage it may cause. Typically insurance companies will only cover appliances that are UL/CSA listed.
Best to check with your insurance carrier directly as this is something you definitely want nailed down and in writing.
