My wife and I were up in MA today visiting my daughter, her husband and our grandchildren. Anyway, the SIL and I got talking about chainsaws and I remembered he had a few when they lived at their old house. He was cutting a lot of wood back then and was considering going into business as an arborist. But since then, the new house has no stove and he's got a great job....I asked him if he still had his saws.
So what does he do - he gets up, walks off and comes back with a Makita dsc6401 with a 20" bar and gives it to me!

I was stunned. He told me he doesn't have any need for it anymore, he had a smaller Husky that was more than enough for anything around his house and that the Makita had been sitting for two years unused. So we put a little gas in and it fired right up.
My daughter picked a good one - that's for sure!

As I read your post I pictured the conversation taking place in the living room. Then I got a little concerned when you said "it fired right up". ;lol

Congratulations on both!
