maybe it didn't earlier ?

I ordered two and received an order confirmation and they hit my credit card. Then ten minutes later they sent me an order cancellation notice.

I'd call or chat with them if they billed you to see if they can fulfill the order. So far so good on my one I ordered.

Yeah I sent'em a note. Be interesting to see how it plays out. I don't need the saws but was buying them for gifts.

I know what happened. I had them in the "cart" and my wife came in asking some questions about something. By the time I put her on hold and submitted the order they were gone but it still took the order.

I checked the Slickdeals forums and apparently it went so fast a Sears couldn't keep up. This from one user:

Got email confirmation that my payment was charged and they cancelled my order at the same time!

I could use a smaller saw than my only one I have now, a ported 390XP but I was hoping for something in the 50-55cc range.

I checked my order and it was canceled. I chatted with a rep and she couldn't tell me why. Oh well, I'll have to just swing around my big heavy 390 for everything awhile longer.

I think it must have been a pricing error. In that case most of the time they cancel all the mispriced orders. Bummer!

I took a minute to look at this stuff. Looks like people that bought one for store pickup got them. All of the ones ordered for shipping appear to have been cancelled with the message that they were sold out. Except that they are now back listed at several of the outlet stores. For $279 apiece.

Having a little fun jacking with their CS monkeys.

And where I live now I'd have to have them delivered. A few years ago I lived in the Twin Cities and would have called to verify stock and picked up in store.

Now I'm looking at maybe getting a used Husqvarna 346XP. I'd love to have a 550XP but it's a little rich for my blood after sinking a bit into my 390 for a port and carb job.
