I placed an order for 50 gallons of LP ($2.00 a gallon) on Monday to be delivered on Tuesday. Just enough for the upcoming season. Yesterday, I checked on the delivery and picked up the bill and was surprised to learn that the delivery man almost doubled the order!! So, this morning, I called the office and indeed, their order was for 50 gallons also. I told them I was disappointed by the mix-up and the guy says "Wait a minute" (listening to clicking of adding machine in background) "Sorry about that, I'll let you have it for $1.54 a gallon...how's that?"

Delivery at that price is insane! I don't know the size of your tank, but at that rate, it would have been worth filling to the top!

exactly! It's not like their coming back to take the overage, they probably sold it to you at cost. Wish they would screw up like that for me, never....murphy follows me everywhere

We are a few hundred miles from you and its going for $1.44 for up to 500 gal order and $1.34 over 500. That's why we are buying a new wood stove propane is such a scam. My brother lives 50 miles from us and he payed $2.00 less a gal then we did in Jan.
