I should be pretty close to 3 years ahead :). Mix this with updated r-50 attic insulation, insulated basement walls, new windows, and the Ideal Steel Hybrid stove. !!!.

Just when I thought I was finally caught up, my tree guy calls and says he has some maple for me. ;lol

Nice! My house sits back off the road about 5-600' and I'm surrounded by trees so they would have to drive up to the house to even see some of the stacks. Most are behind the pole barn out of sight from the driveway. JA600L I only have about 25 rounds sitting in the driveway so I consider myself caught up also, for now anyway ;)

Are you a one man operation like me? I split and stacked all those stacks by hand. Luckily I used a hydraulic splitter for the pile of ash.

Yes I am. Wife helps stack occasionally and will bring it in from the deck. My 16 yr old son will only carry it in if I threaten him with bodily harm ( I'm still a good bit bigger than he is haha ) But pretty much from the woods to the stove is all me

Yes it is. There is some to the right as well.

That is not crazy at all. That is money in the bank bro. I am in Quarryville where are you at?

I'm just a little north of you in strasburg. I'm just up from Tractor Supply.

Nice. What are in your stacks? I get what is on my property. I have no ash. Do we have ash in our neck of the woods? And hedge? Have you seen any of that?

I have Mulberry, Hackberry, Maple, oak, Locust, Cherry, ash, and a little pine. I see ash around. I don't know anything about hedge.

Hey guys, i'm just up in Rohrerstown. I have 5.5 cords in my driveways, and that has all the neighbor kids asking what all the wood is for......

my personal opinion on neighbors is...... ****'em.... my house has been in the same spot and in the same family for 150 years... I am literally the 4th owner since the early 19th century. that being said....

My stack is mostly cordwood (4'+) right now...(not done cutting yet) 56' long... never mind the fully processed stacks... I ran out of wood last year, I will not do so again.

very nice stacks - I have to ask...Crazy as in insane, daffy duck running around? or just crazy warm next winter? Invite some over for a winter party and let them feel the fruits of your labor.

Nice stacks.

I am heading over to a B&B near Lancaster next weekend with the Ms.... any suggestions for tasty restaurants or fun daytime activities?

Great stacks-looks like you're ready to rock!
Should be plenty of hedge in your area - I went to Shippensburg and saw tons there. Look for old fence rows, road crew work and and the "monkey balls" on the female trees from fall-spring.
Many see it as a nuisance tree. Here is a pic I keep on my phone to show people so I can "take it off thier hands". Wear gloves, they's thorny buggers.
