The Federal Taphouse is new and really good. The taproom is a springhouse brewery pub with great beer but a limited menu. Lancaster brewing company is great too.
Just don't stop in the middle of the road to take pictures of Amish or I might throw a split at your car

Me and the Mrs stayed at the Cork Factory Hotel last Fall. Nice place, we went to the flea market in town there and walked around. Took a walk through Franklin and Marshall campus, nice there. Expensive as hell too, but the flea market is worth a look. Got some good coffee from Lancaster County Coffee Roasters, got some canned stuff from one of the stands also. Shady Maple smorgasboard is pretty popular also but they aren't open Sundays. Theres some outlets out there also if your Mrs fancies shopping... lol
Yeah, Lancaster is quite affuent meaning great restaruants and kraft beers. Restaurants-Gibraltier, Fenz, Arts hotel, The log cabin, and Characters are some nice restaurants. I know I left out a bunch.

FYI, the Amish believe that if you capture their picture wit ha camera you have taken a piece of their SOUL.... dont take pictures unles you ask. if they allow it they probably aren't Amish.
