I was working on my holz hausen today and looked up and there were a few rainbows...awesome pic

Nice shots! Never seen those types. Got to see the "end" of one in the middle of our interstate last year - No leprechaun, though.

We're a level 1 on the Bortle scale...as dark as it gets. On cloud free nights it's amazing, too bad i can't take a decent night time pic :( Seeing the Milky way directly overhead is awesome though

I remember as a kid being at the grandparent's house in KY out in the middle of nowhere. Walk outside and "boom", Milky Way hits you in the head! Around here I'm not sure if I've found it...

Can barely see the big dipper here, livin' on Long Island

Cant really see stars too well but I have caught several cool rainbows

I thought the world was coming to an end or Jesus was coming back, when I saw the last 2. Never saw a full circle rainbow around the sun and with out any clouds in the sky.
I was taking the pictures through my sunglasses.
