You can see the valve wrench on the nut. Why haven't they shut off that water? Surely it isn't intentional is it?

It was me, flushing a dead end of a water main. Most of the blow offs are angled but this particular one was installed by a contractor and it is shooting straight in the air.

Too funny. I thought it was a broken away hydrant but if this is just a blow off then I would call that contractor a putz. Throw on some fittings or even hookup a hose to prevent being in the news.

Well it's a city's truck but I got all wet when I was shutting it down. Good thing it was almost 90 degree day.you know there are easier ways to wash your truck
