Makes a humming noise sometimes and I also seem to have to push reset button alot. Any Quad pellet stove owners
having this problem?

What specific type of stove?

Maybe try bumping up the feed rate a bit to get more pellets in the pot on initial dump. As for humming, vibrating etc. that's life with a pellet stove they ALL make some noise here and there.

Where are you located?

I just serviced one of these yesterday and although it was very nasty and rusty it was pretty quiet. Sometimes once they get really hot though they can start to make some noise. I did not run this one long enough to get very hot.

You should NEVER have to push reset unless the auger tube is empty, which only happens if you run out of pellets.

Have you talked to your dealer? If they are not being very helpful maybe I could offer some extra assistance.

Shane Thankyou Thats exactly what I found out from the dealer today. Noise completely normal, does not last very long when it is doing it. They said I had auger closed down to far and not enough pellets getting through. So all is normal. Just getting used to switching from wood heat to pellet. Quite a difference. I must say for romance, ambiance and the ability to draw folks together and stare and talk and stare and read, nothing beats a wood stove or fireplace, but for ease of use, this pellet stove together with a programmable thermostat is utterly awesome!!! Heating the house will be a walk in the park this year, and I still have the wood insert in fireplace for the cozy night with my honey, a book and a whiskey sour, cause sitting around a pellet stove would be like sitting around a hot water heater.
I am happy

JTP10181 Thankyou for your kind offer I guess you can see fro above post all is well. They said exactly what you said. Sometimes when it gets really hot, thats when it hums

Be careful with the feed adjustment slider. I have found that most of the time people have it wide open and the stove has been over firing. One customer actually jarred the slider off its track and it was open more than normally allowed. I close it all the way down when I do a service and then open it no more than 1/2" and all the Quad units should work well like that. You only want the flame to be about 6" out of the burn pot on the HI setting.

Thankyou again! I need as much advise as I can get while I am getting to know how to use this stove
