I haven't posted here in a while because I've been to busy. Two weeks ago I finally finished my splitting, stacking and cleanup much later then I would have liked to. Last weekend I was out playing with my new toy and snapped this picture. I should have at least a 3-1/2 to 4 year supply on hand. These stacks are almost all at least 5' high.

Oh I have video also!

My wife now knows I am a firewood freak.

I bought a DJI phantom 2 vision+ quadcopter last month.

Very cool pics. I have to do it the old fashioned way.. fly with my knees and shoot out the window!

:)

Why on earth don't you push those pallets together and stack in rows? Corners are the hardest part.

I've stacked that way before, and it does provide great airflow, as each row is alternated like corners.

think maybe you'll get 3 1/2 to 4 years alright if the NSA/CIA catches you using that drone. :)

Exactly, I was noticing some of my 3 year + dried wood was not quite up to snuff in the middle of the stacks so I started leaving a gap between pallets and so far it has worked out well for me.

Seems like you just joined the mile high club taking photos of all that wood from the sky.
