I search Craigslist everyday for firewood deals. I found one today! They are moving across the country and the wood needs to go. Its a good mix of maples, some ash, and a little redbud. I got it all for $150. It's measuring out to about 2 1/2 cords. It's been split and stacked since December 2012.

Could you at least have the decency to tell us it was covered in poison ivy or something?? Good job. This year seems to be a repeat of last year. Lots of frustrating near misses, but I sense a mother lode in the near future.

It did have a few ant nests in it.
This was on Craigslist for 9 days or so before I called. The listing had the wrong number, so I called the realtor to get the correct number. I think that's the only reason I ended up with it.

Nice find. I've never paid for wood, but I might be tempted to if it was at that price and already split.

I only buy it if its a smoking deal. For around $60 a cord I can't pass it up. If my times worth anything, I can't process free wood for that!

Nice get! Chasing down the right phone number paid off big-time.

Well, there was probably some Ivy within 10' of that stack...;lol

Nice score, and I agree that it was worth what you paid being split and already having some drying time too.

Nice score... looks like an old billboard tarp, I'd take that off his hands too. And maybe those wood racks.

That makes it an even nicer score.
