point of this is op works back stage @ The Met and has recently chosen to retire. not his choice but mgmts. pay and bene the reason. thought others may have caught his posts, then again maybe it was posted on the other place.

found it was flatbed, thought he'd be interested. reading nyt about "the met" they have a hill to climb. 15 of 16 contracts expire 7/31. good luck. ceo paid almost 1.4 mil, chorus singers start at 100k can earn 200+. on and on. back stage seems to take the biggest hit as they earned the least.
