Stihl 81 weed wacker trouble starting

Easton Mass. not enough time in NB Canada
My Stihl 81 weed wacker runs real nice when I have it going the high adjusted to a nice speed and sound!
Here is the problem.
I can't start it the next day or so.
Am I'm destined to readjust low and high carb screws to one turn open every time?
What's the secret?

Replace the carb diaphragms. My Stihl weed whacker got harder and harder to start, and then wouldn't, the diaphragms were hard as a rock, changed them and now runs good.

I agree. Carb clean and rebuild should do the trick.
