JG was one of my childhood favorites in Maverick and I liked the Rockford Files too. He added class, humor and humanity to any production he was in.

Agreed, James Garner & Andy Griffith both brought a lot of principles & values for viewers young & old alike to ponder on. Simply put in 2 words "Good People".
What more can I say? When online poker cranked up BrotherBrett was already taken by the time I got around to Pokerstars' site. BrotherBart, CousinBeau and OldPappy were still available.

I'm too young to recall Maverick and the Rockford files but I remember watching him in that Tank movie when I was a child.
On a side note, Kirk Douglas is going to be 98 in a few months.

Kirk was sitting at a nearby table last time I ate in NYC. He definitely has aged a lot, but seemed happy to be out with friends and family.
I'd add Michael Landon to that list as well. Little House on the Prairie is one of my all time favs. It's a shame that they don't make shows like that any more.
