stopped by local Aubuchon yesterday and they had pellets out already, Green Supreme and another brand.

Have they ever! Going to be an interesting fall/early winter from an installation standpoint. Possibly from an actual supply standpoint also. Our schedule for August, September and most of October is nearly full already.

The cost of the trees growing in my woods does not change much!

LOL.. me either.

Installing 48 solar panels next month on the wood shed roof. Once I pay for the panels.. sun doesn't change cost either.

I've been scheming for years...finally committed today and bought a Tundra. I pick it up next week. I still haven't finalized my duct plan, but I think I'm close enough to have minimized the risk of a game-stopping surprise. Looking forward to a warmer and less-expensive heating season, especially the wife!

The way I look at it is that I am making mortgage payments on trees I burned 25 years ago.

Yep, the money I saved when I started heating with wood all went into the mortgage. I was paying 9.5% at first. I don;t have a mortgage anymore but my Eko 25 will take 6 heating seasons to pay off. This season will be the 6th. After that it's payed too.
