If I went and tried this and discovered for myself that you people were actually right, you'd never hear about it...lol
 
He is right. It's the same on a large scale. There are many variables, especially moisture content, that have to be at the right value and consistent. If you don't use binders or additives, it's even more critical. The process is not as simple as it sounds.
