At Lowe's if you have a VA issued Veteran's Identification card whip it out and they take 10% off the purchase. I didn't know about it and the cashier saw the card in my wallet when I was taking out my credit card and applied the discount.

Yip, home depot and lowe's offers a discount to any and all personel in any branch of the military, past or present. I get a discount with my MMC booklet threw the coast guard (I am chef on a ship)
HD has pared it back to active, reserve and service connected disabled now for all of the time. All vets only on the holidays now.

Thats a shame About HD, I dont shop there much dues to lowes in my area having much better quality lumber

Lowe's and HD both have pellets in stock here in northern NJ and the Hudson Valley area. It's new stock because everyone was completely out of stock in February. The price for a ton is up $31.00 in both stores. It's now $239.00 a ton.
Tried as guest and logging into account. Both give discount but when select checkout button it throws a error code -54.
It's not a browser cookies/cache issue I cleared those out and tried in IE, Firefox, and Chrome. All give the same error. Lowes just doesn't like me I guess...
Maybe need to swap the zeros for random numbers?

My local Lowe's, and Home Depot both have been stocking pellets for a while already. Lowe's told me today they would be year round now. Of course the only thing decent they carry is Green Team Platinums and the recent shipment only lasted 2 days! HD here has FSU's in stock. Most places around here already have them for the year with Walmart being late to the party...useless as usual! They can't tell me what they're getting or when, so I guess they don't really care about selling any. Most prices are up this year, but as others mentioned you can get coupon codes for Lowe's to get 10% off or $10 off $50 (most codes only work once though) which makes the GTP's $270 a ton and whatever else they carry comes down to $215. My store has Green Supreme, Infernos and Maines Choice in stock.
I'm more interested in the LaCrete's I found for $299 a ton though
