lived in florida 3 years and moved back to PA. shark fishing is nice, but nothing beats the changing seasons. bring on the pumpkin beers.
Seasons sure are nice especially fall! We have a local brewery that makes a real nice pumpkin beer. Thanks for reminding me!

Who is that Sean?

Sounds good. I'm not sure if it makes it down here but will keep my eye out for it.

hard to believe that November is 10 weeks away, time is sure going by fast, I hope when I get in my thirties it slows down a little..lol, I try to pay attention to mother nature, like tree's, nuts, animals ext.. I've noticed atleast in NNJ that the tree's mainly: ash and some white birch have started to turn, nothing major, I wonder what is causing this early turn, it has been a fairly benign summer so I really cant say stress like high heat or drought, other notable things are that there are no nuts what so ever, oak egg corns, beech nuts, walnuts, hickory nuts. The deer are eating like crazy but that's fairly normal for this time of year. I personally think that this winter will be fairly normal and not as severe as last year with the cold entrenching on us for weeks on end, I think that the weather (big picture) is always trying to equal itself out so a bad winter turns to a cooler summer which to me anyways says an average winter temperature wise, precipitation - anything can happen

They reported on the ABC national news tonight that the cool weather is turning the leaves early.

Squirrels are tricked also and already went into hibernation Brother Bart.;)

Proven a few years ago that the leaves turn based on the length of the daylight period.

Interesting just went and looked that up you are right the leaf fall is determined by shorting of the days but the changing of colors they seem to think can be affected by unusually cool weather.
