I may get a few bags of each just to do my own comparison. Seems like everything I listed other than the Somersets and the Greenways is unknown to the outside world.

it's nice to see posts from mid-west seems most on here are from the northeast.

Welcome to the forum.

I agree. About a year ago some guy posted that he was also buying pellets from Nixa Hardware. I think he was from the Joplin area. Up until you replied to my post, he was the only one that I had noticed that was from around the general area. I live near Republic.

Our winters are mild compared to what some of the others on this forum are faced with. I went thru about 2 tons of pellets last heating season and I considered that a bad winter. We are fortunate to live here.:)

Us "northerners" had quite a giggle when Atlanta ground to a halt after a little bit of ice. We had a snow storm last year that dumped 3 feet of snow that didn't cause us that much trouble.

Yea, being a Pa. native, I always get a laugh when they close schools for a week when we get a couple of inches. One good thing about it is that we know that we won't have to look at the snow until April! We can count on quite a few days around zero and in the teens now that global warming has taken over. No more warm winters.

Wow, 2 1/2 tons you must live in the cold part of the Peach State.;lol In a typical heating season I use about 1 1/2 tons.
