Busy last night with tons of cloud-cloud lightning. A few ground strikes, but not many. I took a hundred or so pics, and a couple weren't terrible. lol

I thought this one was cool... Mt. Nebo backlit by flashes about 50 miles away, some nearby cloud action in the middle right, and another bolt ~40 miles away on the right side of the picture

Beautiful shots. How did you catch these? Lightning detecting shutter, long exposure, wicked trigger finger?
 
Long exposure. They varied between 15-30 seconds.
