I have a Qudrafirte4100i and need to replace the 1/2 Cramic Fiber Blanket and Baffle Fiberboar. Where is a good place to buy the replacement. It seems that most places I have looked at want a ridicules amount of money for it, $100+.

Can anyone school me in what I should be looking for so I am not getting ripped off for some insulating blanket and (whatever passes for ) asbestos fiber board? I found a few places that sell 50' rolls of the cramic blanket for about $50 I only need 2 ' :) but I'll buy the 50' roll if I have to

Buy the 50' roll and advertise that you sell custom cut pieces on ebay or where ever....Just thinking

You can find various vendors on ebay selling the blanket by the foot. Here is where I got my board from, they don't give it away, but it is usually cheaper than OEM and you get enough to replace several times...do advanced search, look up ebay seller skylinecomponents

Just head to your local woodstove store and they will most likely have the rolls the sell by the foot from. I got the 1" thick in a 2'x3' section for $24 with tax. Enough to do my stove twice!
