Awhile ago someone on the forum recommended a tarp that was super heavy duty and lasted. I tried to do a search and could not find. Does anyone remember the name of the company.

I'd recommend you not waste money on "tarps" and just find a source of used good "lumber wrap". Lumber wrap stands up to the sun and wind better then most tarps you can buy in hardware stores, and if you find a good used source, like a building supply or laminated beam manufacturer, you can usually get them for free because they generally just throw them away when they are done with them, and because you'll get it for free you won't mind cutting it to the exact size that you need for your firewood stacks.

Local lumber yard leaves them next to their dumpster because so many people ask for them , getting tough to get them anymore due to high demand.

I get a lot of mine from a laminated beam manufacturing place, they fold them and put them a special bin just in front of their property so they don't have to worry about liability issues of the public accessing them on their property.
All I know is the lumber wrap holds up way better then most of the cheap tarps you buy in the stores, and if you can get it it's free so you don't mind cutting it to fit the top of your stacks.
Used EPDM rubber roofing membrane also works very well, but it's harder to find then used then lumber wrap.

I get mine from Tarps Plus. I made a frame that keeps the tarp off the wood.
