pallet2.jpg Trying to get some ideas about how much you guys would think I could sell this for if I can get some interest from the local market. I get the pallets for free and use mostly scrap lumber for the bracing. These are 48in wide by 44in deep and 39 inches high. The pallets are oak, these could be moved by forks. I have another design I am going to put together. It will be 80in wide by 42 in deep and 42in tall. So what are your opinions. I believe after I refine the assembly process I could put them together in about 30min. One other question does anyone know if arboristsite is having issues, tried posting there with no luck. Then noticed that no new activity there on any threads since yesterday afternoon. ThanksFirewood Rack.jpg

Personally don't think there is a market for a pallet rack. Anyone who would use such a thing would just make it themselves.

Thanks for the reply, I thought the same thing but I know of many able body people that still buy firewood. So that is my target. I am thinking around 15.00- 20.00 for this one and 25.00 for the other not pictured. No loss if they don't sell as I will use them.

Give it a shot if you'll use them anyways but I wouldn't think there'd be a big market for them. Pallets are free everywhere if you look for them

Arboristsite is almost always having issues lol ;lol

I was having used pallets delivered. 2 bucks each plus 10 bucks delivered..

i figure I have about 10 bucks each in mine. I brace the 4 corners though. The braces don't really get in the way for loading. I think that selling them would be tough, as delivery would be an issue, those buying firewood might not have a pickup... and you aren't selling a half a dozen of them at once and delivering, unless you built them on site.

Throw an ad up on Craigslist and see what happens. Maybe you'll get more interest than you thought. Will they be delivered or just pick up, that may have an impact too.

Delivery would be available within a certain distance, for a small fee.

I'd say you would sell some to a person who is on Pinterest all the time and thinks pallets are the best thing in the world. Or someone who is in the city who buys wood to burn in small amounts for a porch campfire ring. Just my $.02
