I am in the process of building a small 1200 sq foot house. The plan is to have a propane fireplace in center of house with a vertical flue. I have been looking at FMI fireplaces thru Menards on line. Would like some opinions on this brand and can almost any fireplace be converted from natural gas to propane by just changing the screw in metering jets? Any advice on other brands , looking for a 36 inch 20 to 25thousand
Btu direct vent.

Thanks
JM

Fuel conversions require 5 steps.
1. Change the Regulator head to the appropriate fuel.
2. Change the pilot orifice.
3. Change the burner orifice.
4. Adjust the air shutter.
5. Apply the appropriate fuel label to the valve.
