We have just decided to give up on our Thelin Parlour 3000. It was only installed 6 years ago - we bought a floor model that the dealer said had never been used and the only difference with the new ones was it was the last model that didn't self start.

We called to have it serviced and were told we needed a new motor and that they were no longer made.

Harman Accentra, or P43 pretty high on the list. I like the feature of idling without a fan and still giving off a nice wood stove radiant heat.

Based on the prices on new stoves I would try to find a replacement on the web or have it rebuilt.

AES had a similar stove wit that motor assembly? Those motors were made to have new brushes installed.

Harman P series....

Harman is the better buy can't beat reliability ease of cleaning you just need to make sure you do homework on your dealer and your set

As others have already said you could try fixing the motor or finding a new motor online or call old thelin dealers that would have one in stock they wouldn't mind selling/shipping to you.
As far as best quality new stoves I also think Harman has quite a bit going for it. Backed by a large international company Harman is doing very well so parts should be available for a very long time and they are just made very well, they have a good set up for reliability, performance, and user experience.
