Finished moving 4 tons here too. Good exercise, huh?
Get the MWP from Pellet Warehouse?
We will have to get another 1-2 more tons. Added 2nd stove last Fall.
In the last 14 months we have burned 300 gal. of oil. (Hot Water only)
Used to burn around 950 gal/yr before pellet stoves.

No regrets here!!

Amen on the oil for hot water only!

Looks good guys!!

I switched to electric hot water. Pay about $40 more a month. Used oil for supplemental heat, used a little over 100 gal last year.

We got another ton here today. Price went up $5 a ton. Hope to get another ton before the month is out

No, EBS in Bucksport. Pellet Warehouse was about the same price delivered, but they'll only bring 'em all at once. EBS will bring one at a time, when I want 'em, lot easier for me that way.

I've been considering a 6th ton. My wife thinks I'm nuts but then said "in the middle of February I'll probably think you are brilliant. It's a win-win for you AND me, so go ahead."

My wife thought I was nuts for buying 6 tons this year (up from our usual 4). She is now rethinking her opposition considering it's only mid September and we're already getting frost warnings.

are those 2.5 tons stacked on concrete or a frame built floor? i have a closet under my stairwell that I have about 1400 lbs in. there is room for another half ton at least, but i am afraid of putting too much weight on the floor joists. there IS the main beam under the house underneith that closet...

It's concrete. It's the basement.

My 5th (and final) ton got delivered yesterday, now sitting by the basement window waiting for the sun to come up ..........................

I like how you got them all in.my basement is around the same size as yours and I fit 4 tons.i placed them like they were on the pallet and could only fit three near the long wall and one in another spot.the key looks like you pilled them high.gnna try that next year.
